Covid 19 disruption

Like so many people around the world, our plans have been put on hold while the pandemic rages. We were meant to be in Italy to collect our boat in July 2020, and here it is March 2021 and we’re still in New Zealand. However, we’re heading over soon.

The boat is very nearly finished and ready to launch, in fact, I think the wonderful people at ITA Catamarans will be splashing Waiata in Fano, Italy this week. There’s plans for a second splash when we get there in early May. Watch this space for footage of that event.

In the meantime, here’s a recent pic of her sitting in the factory and a short video of our very slick swimming ladder being installed. More soon!
